第８回京都府立堂本印象美術館野外彫刻展の搬入 The 8th Annual Open-Air Sculptural Exhibition at Kyoto INSHO-DOMOTO Museum of Fine Arts

4月に入ってから体調を崩してしまったので、ゆっくり休みました。

4月12日（土）は第8回京都府立堂本印象美術館野外彫刻展に作品を搬入しに行くために、家族車に乗って岡山から京都へ行きました。天気が良くて太陽は暑かったです。美術館の展示台の上に作品を設置し、スムーズに作業が終えることができました。

In early April I got under the weather a bit and took a good rest.

On 12th April (Sat.), to take part in the 8th Annual Open-Air Sculptural Exhibition at Kyoto INSHO-DOMOTO Museum of Fine Arts, I headed to Kyoto by car with my family (also with our dog!). The weather was good and the sun was scorching even. By setting my works on the exhibition stand provided by the Museum, I finished the job pretty smoothly.

関西アートコンペ大賞展の授賞式 Receiving an Award at Kansai Art Competition Grand Prize Exhibition

 3月30日(日）は関西アートコンペ大賞展の最終日でした。この日、授賞式に参加するために母と一緒に神戸へ出かけました。

その数日前、関西アートコンペの担当者からのお知らせが届き、なんと私の出展作品が審査員特別賞に選ばれたことを教えていただきました！

30th March was the last day of Kansai Art Competition Grand Prize Exhibition. On that day, I went to Kobe with my mom to attend the Exhibition’s prize-giving ceremony.

A few days earlier, the organizer of the Exhibition contacted me, and to my huge surprise, she told me that one of my art pieces had won the Jury’s Special Award. 

 

 

久しぶりに街を歩くと目が回りそうでした。無事に兵庫県立美術館王子分館原田の森ギャラリーに到着し、授賞式の時間に間に合いました。式が終わってからも、私の作品に興味を持ってくれた作家さんたちとたくさん交流でき、嬉しい機会が得られました。

Walking around a city for the first time in ages made us almost dizzy, but we managed to arrive at the Oji Branch Haradanomori Gallery of Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, just in time for the beginning of the award ceremony. After the ceremony, I had such a lovely time chatting with other artists interested in my art pieces.

関西アートコンペ大賞展のお知らせ Kansai Art Competition Grand Prize Exhibition

 現在グループ展「Art and Interior Vol.1」に参加中ですが、同時に公募展の関西アートコンペ大賞展（於神戸）にも参加することになりました。今回は2回目の参加です。今年は3月いっぱい展示イベントが入りとてもバタバタしていますが、何とか作品を仕上げ、神戸に送ることができました。

While the group exhibition “Art and Interior Vol.1” (which I’m taking part) is still going on, I’m also joining a public exhibition “Kansai Art Competition Grand Prize Exhibition” in Kobe for the second time. As I’m taking part in multiple exhibitions this month, it was rather close but I managed to finish my latest artwork and send it to Kobe.

「Art and Interior Vol.1」の開始 Group exhibition “Art and Interior Vol.1” is on now

 3月8日(土）8th March (Sat.)

昨日はトーヨーキッチンスタイル岡山にて「Art and Interior Vol.1」の搬入作業に取り掛かりました。ガラス棚に作品を並べてゆったりとした間隔が空くように設置し、遠くであったり近であったり、様々な角度から眺めて興味深くなるように構図を捉えました。またお店にある台所用品と作品の色合いを合わせながら置いてみました。
Yesterday, I visited TOYO KITCHEN STYLE, an interior shop with a great space which is also the venue of our group exhibition “Art and Interior Vol.1,” in preparation of the occasion. I arranged my works on the glass shelves, with nice spaces between them, making sure that the entire composition look nice and interesting, when looked at from various angles, including afar and near. I also made sure the colours of kitchen units in the shop and our works go well. 

 

トーヨーキッチンスタイル岡山には初めて来ましたが、展示作品と家具に囲まれてながら準備をしているうちに、まるで肩の力が抜けるような、リラックスした気持ちになりました。展示は3月9日（日）に始まりましたので、近くに来ることがあれば是非作品をご鑑賞ください。
I came to this shop for the very first time, but as I prepare for the exhibition, surrounded by our art-pieces and all those lovely furniture, I felt pretty nice and chilled. The exhibition started today (9th), so if you are visiting the area, please pop in and enjoy this great space as well as our works!

 

Art and Interior vol.1のお知らせ Group Exhibition Announcement: Art and Interior vol.1

 岡山県で活躍しているアーティストたちと一緒にインテリアの店で作品出展の参加することになりました。このお店の空間はおしゃれな家具と作品がマッチした形で楽しんで鑑賞ができるところです。岡山市にお住まいの方々、会期中に旅行で訪れる予定の方々は若手アーティストたちの作品を是非ご鑑賞ください。

I am going to join a group exhibition of artists based in Okayama, which will be held in a home furnishing & decor shop. The shop has a great atmosphere and space where fancy furniture and artworks go pretty well.

Anyone who’s based in, or happen to visit Okayama during the period below, please pop in and meet those art pieces by young creators.
