第9回堂本印象美術館野外彫刻展搬入 The 9th Annual Open-Air Sculptural Exhibition at Kyoto INSHO-DOMOTO Museum of Fine Arts

4/10日(金）作品を搬入するため、岡山から京都まで大雨の中を車で向かいました。

11時過ぎに美術館に到着し、はじめて出展者の彫刻家とお話しできる機会を得ることができました。無事搬入が完了し雨が止むことを願いました！

今回はうちの愛犬の子犬時代の姿をモデルにした作品が美術館にいます。京都にお住まいの方、京都に遊びに行く方は是非美術館へお越しください。

On 10th April(Friday), we (me and my parents and our dog) left Okayama for Kyoto by car in a great downpour. 

At 11a.m, we soundly arrived at the museum, and I had a great opportunity to chat with other exhibiting sculpture artists for the first time. Finished installing my artwork, I hoped the weather would get better soon! 

This time, I’m exhibiting one of my ceramic dog sculptures modelled on my dog’s puppyhood figure. Please pop over to the museum if you’re based in/ visiting Kyoto.

第6回アート交差展 The 6th Annual Cross-Point of Arts Exhibition

 3/7日(土)　第6回アート交差展開催初日に、展示を見に来てくれる近所の友だちに会うためギャラリー108に行きました。

On 7th March(Saturday), which was the opening day of “The 6th Annual Cross-Point of Arts” exhibition. I went to the venue, Gallery 108, to see my neighbour who was visiting the exhibition. 

新作の小物入れとバターケース、花瓶を出展販売しています。これらの一部では、ふちにパールラスター釉の装飾をして金縁を再現しています。

My accessory cases, butter dishes, and small vases are for sale, and some of their rims are glazed with perl luster to mimic gold-rims.  

少し多過ぎかな。来場者の皆さんにたくさんの作品を楽しんでもらえるように並べてみました。

There might be too many? But I hope that the visitors can enjoy the cheerful atmosphere surrounded by many ceramic dogs and cats.

新作品とフェーブ Latest Works and Trinkets

去年始めた“Le cadeau mimi”さんでの委託販売を始めてから3ヶ月が経ち、今回もフェーブの販売を続けることになりました。

It’s been 3 months since I started consignment sale at “Le cadeau mimi” last year, and I’ve decided to continue to sell my trinkets there. 

1月中旬から下旬にかけては、本体作品と新フェーブ、お店の在庫のためのフェーブが無事焼き上がりましたので、2月1日（日）にはフェーブを届けるため“Le cadeau mimi”さんに行きました。

My latest works and trinkets were done as planned between mid and late January, so on 1st February (Sunday) I brought my latest trinkets stock to “Le cadeau mimi.”

オーナーさんは新フェーブと在庫のフェーブを併せて新しい配置でのインスタレーションをしてくれました。嬉しいことにフェーブは人気が良いと聞きましたので、入荷後も続けて在庫を作り足していきます。

The lovely shop owner installed my new trinkets with the ones already there with a new arrangement. To my happy surprise I heard that my trinkets are rather popular, so I am going to keep producing some extra stocks.
