報告が遅くなりましたが、5月22日（金）から一週間の間、私と母は第72回創型展を見に来てくれる友だちたちに会うために東京の姉のところに滞在しました。
It’s a bit of an ex post facto but from 22nd May (Friday), I and my mother stayed in my sister’s in Tokyo to see our friends who were going to visit the 72nd Annual Exhibition of Soukei-ten.
23日（土）には、私と母が展示場で４人の友だちとお話していると、作家さんの一人が私にギャラリートークの依頼をしてくれましたので、喜んで引き受けました。
On the 23rd (Saturday), while I and mother were chatting with our friends at the venue, one of the exhibiting artists came to ask me to give a gallery talk, which I gladly did.
作品のテーマや制作の過程を話し、集まっていた作家さんや来場者の皆さんからたくさん質問を寄せていただき、答えることができました。今回も友だちたちが美術館に来てくれてゆっくりお話ができ、また初めて会う創型会の作家さんたちに声をかけていただき、とても楽しかったです。
I explained my works’ theme and production steps, to which many questions were asked by artists and museum-goers. I was happy to answer them. As always, I had great times having lovely catch-ups with my friends, and also very happy to be able to talk with other artists joining the exhibition for the first time.
展示の最終日だった27日（水）には作家さんたちと集合写真を撮り、その後台の片付けと作品を箱に入れ、宅急便に迎えに来てもらいました。肩の力が抜けたところで喉がヒリヒリしだし、風邪を引いてしまいました。
On the last day of the exhibition, which was on the 27th (Wednesday), we the exhibiting artists took a group photo together, and started packing away our art pieces, putting away the display stands. A courier collected my work as arranged, and as soon as I felt a relief, I started to have a sore throat. I caught a cold!
